Finished production and scrap

Record good and scrap quantities at the final manufacturing step, keeping output tied to the job's material, operation and quality evidence.

These guides describe the shared FOR:CEO company engine. FOR:AGENT uses MCP for supported operations; examples involving browser forms refer to the included FOR:CEO human workspace. Check live capabilities and authorization before an agent runs a task.

Separate progress from physical output

An intermediate operation can report progress without creating another set of finished goods. Physical output is recorded by the final-step workflow, with the relevant good and scrap quantities. This boundary helps avoid counting the same manufacturing quantity as finished stock several times while it passes through multiple work centers.

Close the job from confirmed evidence

The final output remains linked to its manufacturing source and the normal stock and costing path. Completion depends on the material pick, required operations, quality checkpoints and committed output, not simply on a produced total. If a physical side effect is only partly completed, the workflow retains the pending action for recovery instead of inviting a second output record.

What to know before you start

Output is generated by the supported execution workflow, not freely edited to make a job look complete. Scrap is not automatically a sellable by-product or a customer credit.

Practical questions

Can I post finished goods after every operation?

No. Intermediate reports track progress; the final step records output through the controlled stock workflow.

Does reaching the output quantity always close the job?

No. Required materials, process steps and quality evidence must also be complete and confirmed.
