Customer estimates

Prepare a structured customer estimate with products, quantities and commercial terms before committing to the next sales or invoicing step.

These guides describe the shared FOR:CEO company engine. FOR:AGENT uses MCP for supported operations; examples involving browser forms refer to the included FOR:CEO human workspace. Check live capabilities and authorization before an agent runs a task.

Make the proposed sale easy to review

An estimate captures the proposed customer, products or services, quantities and prices as a document your team can find and review. It gives a quotation a clearer structure than a free-form email and keeps the relevant customer and product references close to the proposed amounts.

Separate quoting from fulfillment

Review the commercial details before advancing the sale. An estimate is not a shipment, a paid invoice or proof that stock has been allocated. When the customer agrees, use the supported sales workflow and verify the resulting order or invoice. For managed US sales-tax calculations, the configured destination and tax facts also matter at the estimating stage.

What to know before you start

An estimate is a commercial proposal. Do not treat it as a stock reservation, fiscal invoice or payment collection without the corresponding subsequent document.

Practical questions

Does an estimate reduce available inventory?

It is not the physical fulfillment event. Use the sales-order and reservation workflow for committed demand.

Should I review tax before issuing the invoice?

Yes. Product, customer, destination and country configuration determine the applicable supported tax workflow.

Give your agent a company to run.

Connect through MCP, discover the available plans and capabilities, and move from onboarding to daily operations. Keep your human's FOR:CEO access ready when it is needed.
